A prose for a love-dose.

Paradoxically, so close yet so far
I could smell her odour above par
The smile she held on her adorned looks
Left me wandering in my imaginary nooks
Fortunately, that beauty looked around
Unfortunately, I was upon grassy mound
I smiled at her while amazed she looked.
The fact was, she thought me crooked.
Sheepishly, I smiled again & the best part, she smiled back this time
Accidently, I was still smiling but now she laughed as I performed a mime
We conversed for a minute or two
And with this we exchanged our numbers too
Days passed fast & time went quick
Profuse SMSing prevented me to blink
For hours, we used to tittle-tattle on phone
Never allowing each other to be in lone
From friends to good friends to besties we moved
We went to a friend's party where we grooved
DJ played them all- rock, jazz, classy & pop
Finally he moved to romance, despising flop
Crowd shattered as it needed romance
Just she and me left by god's grace
To my surprise, she cuddled me and danced to the beats
While I was trying to perform some impressive feats
We won everyone's attention but I lost a gem
Yes, she stole my heart, that beauty damn
I confessed my love but initially she differed
Later she agreed and our love triggered
Since then, there was no looking back,
Cause the queen was in-arms of her jack!
